We are a boutique investment management firm focused specifically on frontier markets (i.e. emerging markets that have not yet ‘graduated’ to being formally recognized as such). We focus on standard financial inter-mediation seeking to match international risk appetite with domestic funding needs in frontier markets, originating, structuring and distributing frontier market risk transactions. We focus on where risk appetite is most likely to coalesce. AH Global Investments identifies investment opportunities, on a bespoke basis, that meet target diversification and yield objectives, in hard or local currency; structures such investments and transactions in an easy-to-settle-and-trade -clearable structure, placing such investments with international and regional investors, banks, syndication portfolios, institutional investors, hedge funds, pension funds and other asset managers. We originate and structure innovative solutions that mitigate diverse credit and political risks. We are focused on supporting banks, large corporates and commodity traders in Africa. In cooperation with leading global insurers and international banks, we have a background that provides us with a unique perspective on how to best structure effective products and solutions.
